Our volunteer group ends their tour of Guatemala today and their timing could not be more perfect. The major project they undertook to build an significant erosion wall had the last stone placed today leaving them with enough time to clean up and pack for their next destination, Honduras. They spent a month with us building this wall from fencing materials and river rocks. And they did a great job.
They packed the gaviones so well we had to order even more rocks to fill the them.
One of our volunteers even took time out to cut the hair of our entire caretaker family. Here is Erwin trying to keep his thick black hair out of his eyes. It was a great last day and a suitable ending for a great team.
